Jeyna Lynn Gonzales (she/her) is a Filipino American performer, advocate, and playwright with international influence. Her advocacy work primarily focuses on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in theatre education and the arts & entertainment industry. She was elected by her peers to serve the International Thespian Society as an International Thespian Officer 2020-2021 where she collaborated with student leaders all over the world to create policies encouraging a more welcoming environment for all theatre students and amplify the voices of the organization's 130,000 students through workshops and discussion panels. This passion for DEI is also evident in her playwriting. Publishing her first script with Theatrefolk at 18, her writing and research brings controversial, provocative topics to light to increase representation of marginalized communities on the stage. Shortly after, she started her own business as a performer: JLG Entertainment Service. She worked in Panama City Beach, Florida and surrounding areas as a character actress, singer, and Polynesian dancer at 4 beach resorts along the Gulf of Mexico.
She currently resides in Irvine, California where she is pursuing a BA in Drama at the University of California, Irvine and dancing with Island Inspirations.
